About the 4023 Big Boy move: "his last one"????

Hello from Belgium,

Yes guys , Its a shame that we probably never see these monster ride again.

But don't be too sad, here in europe we have even nearly none big engine running again and the law to see them ride again are so restrective that only one or two by countries have steam engine in order to ride on the track.

We have no help or nearly none from the gouvernemental authorities ( there no private railroad companies in europe) and only a very few remains in museum.

But I think with a deal of money it would be possible to see one to ride again; here in Europe we always beleive everithing its possible in USA.......

The 4000 were so powerful and faster that It would be maybe possible to give some rentability to such project. When not running for tourist operation, she could run again with freight trains........What a dream..... and with the actual cost of petrol there is maybe something to do....... I hope it.......
