I was in Orlando last October.

I stopped in at the Train Depot.
I bought my P2K SD50, my Walthers Amtrak Domecar & a couple of boxcars there.
Nice store, no complaints from the service here.
If you go there, mention that you saw the ad in MR magazine.
They liked it when I mentioned it.

Jim,

Don't forget to visit The Orlando train station, just 1/2 south of downtown. It was beautifully restored some years back. Amtrak's Silver Meteor and Silver Star trains stop there.

Church Street Station (a former passenger station) is in downtown. It's now an entertainment complex that many visitors check out. The CSX mainline runs right next to it, so there are railfanning photo opportunities as well. .

"I like my Pullman Standards & Budds in Stainless Steel flavors, thank you!"

I'm not sure about the one on International Drive but I frequent both of the shops that pennysperson mentioned. My favorite is Colonial Photo and Hobby. Like he said, it's on North Mills. It's just around the corner of the intersection between Colonial and North Mills. I had a heck of a time finding the first time I went looking for it cuz I though, based on the name, it was on Colonial. D'oh!

There are two large ones. One is called The Train Depot and is on Fairbanks Ave. It has HO, N, O, the works. Then there is another called Colonial photo and hobby inc. and is on North Mills Rd. It is like one of the largest hobby shops in Florida. Hope I helped![:D]

I was in Orlando awhile back and there is a train store with a big layoyut I think it is on International Drive or maybe Kirkman Rd.If and when you go to Orlando just go down to international Drive you should find it there.they used to have a steamer that you can ride on I took my family on it back in 92 when they was young they might still have it running, just ask around people seems to be friendly.

We are looking at a vacation in Orlando this summer, and will need a break from feeding the mouse[;)] Where are some good train stores? I already know about H&R Trains, but that is too far of a detour. Any w/ websites would be appreciated. Also there was an attraction called trainland/trolley and train museum. Is this still in operation, does it have a website and is it worth the money. I wasn't having any luck finding a website.
Thanks
Jim C
