I have one. It can be one of the best models Bachmann has made. i'd like to make a second unit into a boxcab switcher. The tail section can be cut up to make a nice trailer coach.

I've got one and I'm happy with mine. It probably has less than an hour run time, as my layout is still just getting to the operating stage, but it seemed to run fine for the bit that I ran it. The motor on mine is noisy. Doesn't bother me, but some people might not like that.
So there's one data point for you. Sorry I don't have more run time to base the impression on.
