Josheph, the new Pontiff was up to his old mischeif. However the gruff sheriff named Muff was through with his mischief and called the balliff to get his handcuff.

"I'm rough and tough and won't take that stuff" said the gruff plaintiff. "I'll take my earmuff, kerchief, foodstuff and shirt cutt and will call you bluff in the buff."

" Well if that's what you think then I must rebuff, because of the new tariff on snuff I guess I have to continue to drink duff.

And with that the fued ended between Joseph the Pontiff and Muff the Sheriff

There was a post on the Trains Magazine forum the other day that was similar 5 line rant about poor spelling and grammer. That critic wrote the whole thing in lower case letters, totally oblivious to capitalization.

It's hard not to chuckle when people make such obvious fools of themselves. Without such fluff, this would be a dreary world.

Gotta luff it.

Sometimes I just slough off the questions about stuff that irritates me and leaves me in a huff.

Questions like the one about grammar are okay to ask, but the asker should have the grace to accept the responses he/she gets, whether funny, irreverent, hostile, or, just as riddled with typos as happens to most of us daily.

Well... while we are correcting. I believe you may want to read back over
your post above.

I think you meant "Why can't anyone have a sense of which witch is which".
And "Why doesn't anyone use correct grammar?" [;)] Good luck, Dave

Because "correct grammar" doesn't rhyme with "fluff?"

Criticiziing the use of grammar or spelling often raises hostile feelings. I know that it's not always the case but some are very sensitive to the criticism and take it badly. I know you wouldn't mind a bit if I pointed out you that did not capitalize the start of a sentence in your post and incorrectly used the spelling "it's" where you intended the possesive meaning, not the contraction of "it is." Some folk would take that as hostile criticism.

Perhaps the thread was deleted to minimize the hard feelings.

It's tough to put up with the guff from the gruff and slough off the rough stuff that passes for fluff in the forums.

But thats another story.
