New Bachman On30 Climax, WOW!!!

I picked up one of bachman's new On30 climax logging locos at the train show in Erie, PA this weekend. Boy has bachman come a long way from the cheapo sets and horrible running engines of years ago. I am planning a small portable On30 logging layout to exhibit at shows. I also got a 0-4-2 porter and a set of log cars. For now I will use my exhisting HO track, but I plan to get Peco On30 track as soon as finances allow. Cheers Mike

Yes, Bachmann has come a long way from those cheapo sets it used to make many years ago. I have their On30 Mogul and Porter locos. They look great, run well, and are very affordable. You should check out the Micro Engineering line of On30 track. It's available in codes 70, 82, and 100. It is very realistic-looking
