HO GG1 Sidekicker Addendum

It Works and thanks to billywa.
No where in the instructions does it say to disconnect your power track feeder from
the variable DC posts.
The extra set of wires on the sidekick connected to the track over-ride the previous connections except in the case of DC block controls which is a different application.

I'm not the only modeler that had the same problem. Billywa ran up against the identical problem.
There's a better picture of the too simple wire hook up to a power pack in the 2005 Broadway product catalog .
You have to assume here since it doesn't show any track feeder going to the power pack. Strange, isn't it?

Sometimes it's the simplest thing that can hang you up. I will e-mail them my comments.

Their product catalog, 74 pages which includes the yet to be released CZ cars is AWESOME.

IMO BLI has left Rivarossi/Hornby back at the gate.

I guess they made it for people like me who don't like to read directions. Anyway I didn't have any problems with mine when I put it in last year.
What could have happened.... did.

EXCEPTION: The above two recommended track connections negate your cab block control.
One of the two track wires must go to your power in-coming post on your selector/connector
to maintain block control.

Unless you wire all your blocks with DPDT switches.
What could have happened.... did.
