Decoder Installation in a FEF-3
Posted by Fergmiester on Friday, March 4, 2005 8:11 AM
I'm in the process of fitting out my Rivarossi (latest version) FEF-3 with a Digitrax HD123. The lights come on but no one's home! i.e. the thing won't move. Nada! I haven't programmed it yet as I'm running it on the 03 designation

Any thoughts

Fergie

If it has an eight pin connector(which I'm sure it does), try unplugging it and rotate the plug 180 degrees.
Plug it back in and see what happens. Sometimes if it is plugged backwards the loco will run backwards.
Other times your situation will occur... the loco will just sit there and do nothing. Good luck, Dave
