Keith,

Go to Google and do a search on SILO and then click on "Images" at the top of the page. You'll get over 63,000 photos, many of which look useable.

There used to be a business called Countryside Models which sold a very nice, cast resin silo in N and HO scales, but the book mark I have for them now goes to a site which says the domain name is available. Don't know if he's still in business or not.

Take a drive into the countryside and take some pictures. I suspect that most landowners will let you take pictures close up if you ask and explain your purposes. Rapidly developing areas like where I live have many formerly working farms with older type silos. Active farming areas will probably have the modern blue metal ones. I can even see an abandoned old type windmill standing in a field as I drive to a nearby supermarket.

Good luck!
