The layout and craftsmanship was also very nice.

DonaldAgne,

I see you use Homestead.com They also offer Photosite.com; a place to share photos. It's pretty simple to use and it's easier than placing the photos indivudually on your website.

Enjoyed the photos!

Take care,

Don,

FANTASTIC!

I know you're in Japan, but consider contacting "Allen Keller". He's always on the lookout for great layouts to feature in his productions.

Yours looks like it may fit the qualifications!

Such blatant self-promotion can only be answered by one word: WOW!! Beautiful layout, your touch with scenery and attention to detail is really inspiring. Terrific photos!

The internet is great. So many more layouts are available for viewing that would never be seen in the print era.

WOW!!!! You have inspired me. I am turning off the computer, going downstairs to the basement to spend the rest of the day working on my layout. You have a fantastic sense of detail. Thanks for sharing! [bow]

Your self promotion has certainly gotten you a lot of visitors. 3163 people since this morning!
You have done one of the best jobs on unitrak that I have ever seen, and you have your layout nicely scenicked. A 4% grade? hope you have helper facilities.(Not that I'm against steep grades)

P.S. N scale is 1:160 not 1:150

Very cool[:D]. I was thinking about building a unitrack layout to compliment my HO one, but I have to finish it first. By the way, is the turntable a unitrack peice?

all I have to say is OMG THAT IS AMAZING... seriously some shameless self promotion never hurt you on this one.... the level of detail you achieved is amazing.... now I have a new standard to live up to in my Normal modeling.... [sarcastic] thanks.... thanks alot [/sarcastic].

I know there is no sarcasm tag or picture or anything that's just a way of doing it so no one gets mad.

Thanks, guys, for all of your nice comments. If any of you ever come to Japan (near Tokyo), let me know, and we'll run some trains. Just a few comments:

- I'm not familiar with the name, Allen Keller. Who is he, and what does he do? Maybe I've been over here too long!

- mustanggt: The turntable is a separate unit sold by KATO but made by another company. Can't remember the name at the moment, but I'm sure one of the other people here will know.

- trainboyH1644: The webpage has been up for about a year now, so not all of those posts were made today! That would be nice, though, wouldn't it? And, N-scale in Japan is 1:150 instead of 1:160.

- The 4% grades, as well as the size of the stations, limit the length of the trains I can run. But, a KATO F-3 A&B (both powered) and a helper Mikado (KATO with traction tires) can easily pull about 15 NMRA weight boxcars around the layout with no probem. All that American rolling stock must be in Japan on some kind of exchange program!

- brothaslide: Thanks for the info on Photosite.

Hello Don!

If you read Model Railroader you've probably seen the advertisements whenever a new "AK" video is hitting the market.

A real decent guy, Allen Keller has produced some OUTSTANDING professional model railroad videos. He's well known among model railroading circles. Here's the link:

http://www.allenkeller.com

Check his site out. I would suggest that you contact him by e-mail and include a link to your layout. He's pretty good about responding to e-mails. Most of his past videos have been on tape but he's switching over to DVD.

From time to time AK tapes will show up on ebay but they go very quickly!

Peace and Cheers in the land of the rising sun! [8D]
