Sources of N Scale Information
Posted by jwr_1986 on Monday, February 28, 2005 2:13 PM
My neighbor is looking to get into N Scale. I'm in HO and don't know what really good sources of information are out there for him. If you could list websites, books, magazine etc... I'd appreciate it.

Thanks alot.

National Model Railroad Association www.nmra.org NTRAK www.ntrak.org N Scale Magazine http://www.nscalemagazine.com/ N Scale Railroading Magazine (no web site), Model Railroader Books (link on this site)

I tried to sell my two cents worth, but no one would give me a plug nickel for it.

I don't have a leg to stand on.

Just tell him to get registered here and start asking questions.

Is he just new to N scale, or he is new to the hobby?

Regards

Good One's I've found:

N scale locomotive database: http://home.cfl.rr.com/dawestern/nscale/nscale.html

N scale locomotive Encyclopedia: http://www.visi.com/~spookshow/locos.html

Layout Depot (all scales): http://www.layoutdepot.com/index.ihtml

Ntrak: http://www.ntrak.org/

Index of known N Scale Modular Systems: http://homepages.picknowl.com.au/nscalepage/msindex.htm

Various MRR Manf links: http://www.pugvalley.com/trains/train_manufacturers.cfm

This should be enough to get started.
