Tweet469, that sounds similar to mine. I've got a friend who is building a couple of modules per month. I'll add each to the end of the line and keep growing. My current layout is 12 long by 4 wide. I was thinking of connecting it in the middle somewhere. I'm just curious what other folks would do.

I think the title may cause a lot of folks to skip this post, though. [V]

I have a 10' X 18' trainroom with a double loop around the walls and a yard down oneside. I have a branch out of there to my bedroom consisting of 2' X 4' modules with a return loop of 32" radius track with my roundhouse and turntable inside the loop. I can add modules as time and $ permit. I really like this setup

The Cedar Branch & Western RR is proud to announce that it has negotiated a rather large real estate purchase in the shape of numerous 2 ft by 4 ft modules. [:D] As such, new plans are in the works for a significant expansion in order to reach many more eager customers and conquer more of the Ozark Mountains.

I'm curious as to how you would use these modules and what you would design. [?]

My thoughts are to place the modules end-to-end and make a point to point style layout incorporating my current layout in the middle. I've pondered using one module for a town, yard or siding or industry and the next for a scenery portion such as cliff, tunnel, bridge, mountain pass, etc. I'd alternate these modules to give the appearance that the train actually goes somewhere between towns and to give it some run time. What would you do? [:I]
