Yes, using aluminum to make your own roofing has been around for a while. Use a sheet of corrugated Evergreen styrene as the base, and form the aluminum in it. You would have to paint and weather it yourself. I don't think I've seen pre-weathered roofing in any scale other than the Paper Creek product, which is actually printed paper.

the late E.L. Moore used to make cheap corrugated metal by taking stiff bond paper over currugated styrene (as Bob suggests doing above with foil) and running a dry ball point pen to make the corrugations. Then the paper is sealed presumably with shellac or some other non water based sealant. Spray painted gray/silver it sure looks convincing in shots of Moore's scratch built structures (his goal was to make a great structure that cost a couple of bucks at most).

Hot Shoe,
Welcome to the MR Forums !
You might want to Email American Model Builders, Inc:
http://www.laserkit.com/laserkit.htm
Their O gauge Crossroads Church, Kit 491, has a peel and stick tin roofing. It isn't corrugated, but is the standing seam variety. I couldn't find it listed as a separate detail part, but perhaps they just haven't catalogued it that way.
Also, Plastruct:
http://www.plastruct.com
has both ribbed and corrugated roofing and siding in O scale.

I have had some success with aluminum foil run through a large paper crimper. If someone you know has a crimper try it out.

You didn't say you were looking for cheap or do-it-yourself, so I'll suggest Builders In Scale products: http://www.builders-in-scale.com/bis/parts.html

A recommended product and they are a pleasure to deal with.

I aso have been using some very thin plastic silver-colored corrugated material that I buy from a dealer on Ebay, though I think this stuff gets cut from rools of party decoration material. I'm looking for a local source.
