CSXguy,

I responded to you on another poll topic. Hopefully you've read it by now.

You need to realize that while "relentless poll posting" may look fun, you are helping to "degrade" the VALUE of polls posted by other modelers that are sincerely looking for info from polls. The flaming that has resulted from your poll posting doesn't help this forum at all. We have a good reputation compared to other forums. Why risk ruining it?

Young Amigo, have fun, enjoy this cool hobby, but think like a young cool-thinking man and be considerate.

Peace out![4:-)][C=:-)][C):-)][:I][8D]

"I like my Pullman Standards & Budds in Stainless Steel flavors, thank you!"

I agree with csxguy, its good to know about everyone.
And, is it just me, or am I detecting hints of "anti-Pole" sentiments (see the other posts about polls, its actually quite funny)
LOL, being Polish, I just have to know...

No. Usually they are fun, but skewed to the forem picked. IE on the O scale forum someone asks which is your favorite scale. Silly, you asked on the O forum, which do you think will win.

For all of you who think polls are good only if they ask a thought-provoking question: from now on, i will try to only create polls in which the brain is used. That does not by any means mean that i will never do a silly poll like "What is your favorite name for a kitten", but i will try to do good polls.

Since you asked, yes. In fact, this is the only poll I've bothered to respond to for some time.

I've seen very few polls here that were worthy of the name. Usually they are so poorly written as to be meaningless. Often the choices are biased to the poster's own preferences or reflect his limited knowledge of the subject. It would be more productive, in my opinion, to start a discussion or ask a thought-provoking question.

I hope this poll provides a helpful answer to your question.

Anyone notice that the person who started THIS poll also has at least FOUR other polls on the go? Enough already!

Nope. Don't read 'em if you don't like 'em.

Pea soup isn't my favorite, so I don't ever order in when eating out - nor is permitted in our dining car! But it may very well be the cat's meow for others ........

Depends on my mood. If I don't want to read them, I just ignore them.
