Thanks for citing the references guys. Try as I might, I couldn't find anything through a web search that turned up N Scale Railroading magazine. I'll contact one of the outlets today and place my order.

From the mar-apr 05 issue:

N Scale Railroading, published by North American N Scale Publishing
P.O. Box 77296 Seattle, WA 98177-0296

Back issues: $4.95 each plus $2.00 per order shipping and handling Washington residents add 8.8% sales tax

Subscriptions $26 US for one year

Interesting Kato add on back cover Western Pacific F3's due mid April
A+B set (Road # 801A + 801B) $175.00, B (Road # 801C) $87.50

I tried to sell my two cents worth, but no one would give me a plug nickel for it.

I don't have a leg to stand on.

Still don't think so, I subscribe to both of them.

It's just that in this day and age we automatically think every company that doesn't have a website is probably out of business. [:D]

That's news to me, since I received my latest issue in the mail about a month or so ago. They're still advertising back issues available. Unfortunately my collection only goes back to early 2002.

Single back issues $4.95/ea, plus $2/order for shipping. Address is North American N Scale, PO Box 77296, Seattle, WA 98177-0296.

The problem may be that they don't seem to have a website.

N Scale Railroading magazine article
Posted by CNJ831 on Thursday, February 17, 2005 12:28 PM
For quite a while I've been searching for a copy of Art Fahie's article "Making the Scene with Commercial Kits", which appeared in the Sep/Oct 2001 issue of N Scale Railroading magazine. It appears this publication is no longer in business (so no chance of obtaining back issues) and none of my usual sources of out-of-print magazines have copies either. I am aware that the NMRA's library might be able to provide copies but from experience this would probably be a long, slow process.

Does there happen to be any reader here that has a copy of the magazine in question and would be willing to either email me a scan of the article or snail mail a hard copy? I'd be glad to reimburse the sender for any expenses incurred.
