Hi train Buffs
I would like to know of any hornby dealers in The U.S.
I saw of 1 Distrubitar in New york
I am looking at their Thomas the train line for my grandaughter's
Yes I have seen bachmans line
Hornby line seem to have almost all the trains

Have you considered buying from the UK from one of the reputable dealers like Hattons (See the link above). When buying from the UK, the VAT is deducted and this makes a difference. Just don't buy a set with a powerpack as this would be wrong for the US.

and look for the section on member-dealers. If you don't find one there, there are a number in Ontario that will sell to you.

I'd second Simon's suggestion - Hattons are very good. Orders usually arrive within a week and I've never had any problems with them. Hope this helps!
