Don't know if you have seen it, but the Model Railroader home page has a club/hobbyshop finder. Here's the link and you can try finding something in your area. I think that the World's Greatest Hobby website has a similar one also.

Ben, I know where Upland is! (Ontario, CA...lifornia and Ontario, CA...nada too!) As for clubs in the inland empire? No clue (sorry [:(]) The only SoCal club I know of that still exists is the Santa Susana Club in the Simi Valley area. You may want to check some of the local hobby shops (Trainquest, Long's, etc.) around there and ask if they know of any. Sorry I can't help you any more than that.

Here's a link to the NMRA club listing for California. There are several clubs closer to you than the ones previously mentioned (Pomona, Corona, San Gabriel):

BTW Ben, the NHL may be locked out, but there's still some good hockey to be seen. I just went to see the Bakersfield Condors play the Fresno Falcons last night. It was a great game! There is a Long Beach team that's playing in Bakersfield tonight (2/12/05). Bakersfield will be playing in Long Beach on 2/25/05. Just thought you might like to know so you can get your hockey fix if you need it.

Hey Ben... Looks Like you live the next city over.... I live in Fontana....
I am not sure about clubs but you may want to check Pomona because there is a huge club there at the LA County Fairgrounds that models all sizes.

I'm not sure if this helps, but here is the shotgun approach.
