Actually, you might want to specify Mantua parts when trying to source such items.The vast majority of kits were sold under the Mantua name. These kits were at their most popular in the 50's and early to mid-60's. Tyco was a brand name of Mantua Metal Products Co. Inc. After a brief revival in the 80's and 90's, Mantua ceased to exist altogether earlier this year.regards\Mike

Hi. The TYCO stuff was really popular in the '70,s
you might have luck at swap-meets, or, if memory serves, I believe that Mantua still makes the same models. There was Mantua first, then TYCO marketed the stuff as "toy-train-sets" for a while, and now Mantua is the marketer again. although at a greatly inflated price for what you are getting. But, they might be able to supply you with the parts that you need. Good luck. Todd.

I'm sitting here working on the very some loco! Depending on the parts you need, your best source for parts will be to find a kit at a train show. If you need a motor, Alliance Locomotive has one that works. The web page is www.alliancelink.com/alp. I think it is the model #162 or #152, I can't remember. If you live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, I've seen a couple of Tyco Mikado kits selling for $60-$70!
