As for the game, I was rooting for New England and I don't even care that they won. At least the games wasn't a blow out like so many Super Bowls, even if it was riddled with offensive mistakes and sloppy play.

As for commercials, they certainly didn't have the "write home" commercials of past years, but I agree the returning troops commercial was top notch and the Mustang convertable commercial was good. I also like the monkeys in suits. How did they get that footage in my office?

The game was great. I disagree, some of the commercials were good, 1 was excellent.

Tim's top 3

3. Diet Pepsi with P diddy. The lifted pepsi truck was great.
2. Ford convertable with the frozen dude. Would have won but for.

1. The salute to the military. Best damn commercial ever. Class.

Honorable mention. Did you see the train in the one commercial. Don't even remember what the ad was, but there was about 4 seconds of steam engine during the superbowl. Woo Hoo.

Go Pats, but like Pistol Pete, my dollars are train dollars not sports dollars.

Food was great also. [dinner][dinner]

I'm glad somebody posted the results, otherwise I wouldn't know. I put my time to something worth while. I sat down with the Scenic Express Super Tree starter set and made trees it was fun and I don't have a hang over from it. You can see my first attempts at:

The Pats, the Soxs and the Celtics way to go New England/Boston from a life long fan. As good a fan as I am I still spent my $ today on HO scale equipment instead of a PATS tee shirt.

I liked the commercials. The ones I really liked were the ones that got them in trouble last year. I never watch the halftime show because that's when I get ready for bed. I used to have a baseball card with the Eagles championship team of 1960. I wonder what happened to it. Oh yes, I'm happy the Patriots won.

I didn't think the game was that good and like Lawrence said, the commercials sucked. This year I was one of the 1 in 6 that watched for the commercials and I wasted my time.

Have a good day

I have never been able to understand the draw of spectator sports-absolutely boring. Then there are the pre-game and post-game shows where everyone is an expert, yet they don't play. For a week before a big evant and for a week after, the radio talk stations do nothiing but sports. Give me a break. Some guys even try to say you aren't a real man if you don't watch sports. The closest I can get to watching spectator sports is snowmobile racing or drag racing, but 10-15 minutes and I'm done. The only reason I try to watch those 2 is because I participate. I don't fault anyone else for watching, but I just don't get it.
