QUOTE: Originally posted by tstage Nice layout, Thomas! How long is that freight car in the 3rd pic - 60'? What is your minimum radii? Did I notice a yellow Atlas water tower - the one you are so fond of - in the distance, up against the mountain? Anyhow, you're doin' a great job! Keep it up and keep us posted. [:)] I agree with the other guys: provide a hyperlink for your layout in your profile. I know you don't consider yourself very computer savvy but It's really not that difficult to do. Tom

QUOTE: Originally posted by TurboOne Tom the pictures were great especially the last one with the train on the bridge over the water. Very Nice. http://www.picturetrail.com/Hoofus made a direct link for you . Feel free to copy and paste it in your first post. Makes it easier to just click and go. High much higher is the top level vs lower level ? Tim Tim--thanks for the link, I'm still trying to copy and paste it--hopefully I'll get it up by tomorrow. As to the top level, it's 18 inches higher than the lower. I was originally going to use helixes to get there and make it a double-decker, but I decided to just wind it around itself a couple of times to make the grade, and use scenery to disguise it as much as possible. I was able to do it and still keep the grade at a maximum of 2.4%, but only in a couple of spots. For the most part, my ruling grade is only 2%, and that's not constant--I've got a couple of 'rest areas' in it. But thanks for the nice comments, I appreciate them. Tom
