The Sidekick is only for DC. You can't use it with a DCC system like the Command 2000. You will either have to run with a DC power pack and use the Sidekick, or trade up to a DCC system that can control the functions.

I bought a Broadway Limited Steam with all the bells and whistles. My layout is controlled with a MRC Command 2000 which doesn't allow me to control all the functions of my new loco so I purchased a Side Kick to solve this problem (kinda) thinking now I could control the bell and whistle functions. Problem: When I connect it between the Command 2000 and the track, the loco constantly makes a clanging noise. Any ideas as far as connecting this to function properly? Thanks in advance for any help anyone has to offer. [8D]
