The logic of this thread might be odd, because it is about logging in to the forum. If you can read this then you can log in. Anyway, my point is, in the last week or so I have been able to log on every time I tried. However, when I click to open it takes maybe up to 30 seconds to finally get in. 30 seconds isn't all that long a period of time, but nowadays that can seem forever in the digital world. My point is if those of you who seem to not be able to log on just wait while your devise can finally connect to the server hopefully you'll get to log in. And I get it, if you can read this then you can log in. But maybe some can get in only occasionally quickly and give up if at other times they need to wait. Maybe some can get to read this and it might make a difference the next time they try and have to wait. BTW, I only use an IPad, if that matters. Just my $.02.

Actually, Chris, you do NOT have to be logged into the forum in order to access and/or read the forum. You DO have to be logged in in order to post a message.
I can only post from my phone and my laptop. I can no longer post from my desktop because I cleared my cache 2 or 3 months back. Whenever I attempt to log in from my desktop, I get the same "An unexpected error has occurred..." message every time.
Don't know if and when this will get resolved. It would be nice if someone from Firecrown posted a sticky with an update. I guess that's asking too much.

Tom, you are correct. I just tried to log on using my laptop (MacBook) and couldn't. But it will still keep me logged in on my IPad. Strange, as I have shut down my iPad from time to time but still I am kept "logged in" when I turn it back on. I guess it's a 0's and 1's issue that far exceed my comprehension.

On this note, I am still logged in on my phone which I do restart periodically. Of the two desktop computers I regularly use (both the latest windows machines, both restarted regularly), one I remain logged in on, the other I'm suddenly not logged in, nor can I log in on it. I cleared the cookies and still could not log in on that second machine. Doesn't make sense to me.

To pick a nit, it is a problem on a desktop also.
I am posting this on my iPhone. Since Chris can't login on his MacBook it isn't a Windows vs macOS thing. I don't have a problem with IOS; anyone trying with Android?

It seems that the problem is something to do with cache not the OS. Maybe the forum software is looking for something and can't find it if you clear cache.
