Davie,
Sorry it took so long to get a response, but I just noticed your question. The Mikados are as follows:
Class MS 4501-4635, 6250-6285, 6600-6611
MS-1 4750-4574, 6285-6319, 6612-6621
MS-2 4535-4539, 4561-4576
MS-3 6940-6944
MS-4 4800-4914, 6320-6337, 6623-6629
6350-6374
MS-5 4998
MS-6 4995-4997, 4999
MS-7 6630-6636
The Pacifics were as follows:
Class PS 1200-1250, 1300-1324, 1360-1365,
6450-6458, 6675-6683
P-1 1275-1299
PS-2 1251-1270, 1325-1359, 6459-6470
PS-3 6975-6979
PS-4 1360-1409,6471-6482, 6684-6691
P-5 1277,1278,1285,1295
The MS-4's and PS-4's were the heavy Mikes and Pacifics, respectively. The MS and MS-1's were the most commonly used light mikes, and the PS-2's were the most frequently seen light pacifics. The Southern allowed it's shops a great deal of freedom, so the detailing of their steam locomotives varied considerably from one area to another.
Hope this helps,
Tom Watkins
