There are some videos on Youtube about taking apart this locomotive. Search "Bachmann 0-6-0 disassembly". I viewed them before I tore mine down for a detailing project.
If all you want is to remove the drivers and cylinders, gently pry the cylinders outward - they have a pin that goes into the metal frame or core of the locomotive.
One of the videos mentioned some small screws above the cylinders. Mine did not have them but you may have to remove them to pry the cylinders out.
Then remove the screws in the cover plate on the bottom of the loco and you should be able to remove the drivers and cylinders.
If you decide you want to pull the boiler also, there's two clips on the boiler casting right at the front of the air tanks. Pry those outward to release them from the metal core.
Hope this helps.

Hi all,
I recently acquired a Bachmann USRA 0-6-0, I know its not the nicest runner but it suits my purposes. I am looking at repainting it (it is the baldwin locomotive works scheme that has the smokechests and drivers painted in green, I got a really good deal on it over one in just a plain black) and am not sure if it is possible to do a full disassembly of the drivers. I know the smokechests are held in with a permanent pin into the frame, and overall the disassembly prospects seem pretty rough. Anyone do a full disassembly on one before?
