This is the weekend thread where modelers can show their completed models, work under construction and layout pictures new and old.
Let's have a lot of participation this weekend!

Rule 1: This is my railroad.
Rule 2: I make the rules.
Rule 3: Illuminating discussion of prototype history, equipment and operating practices is always welcome, but in the event of visitor-perceived anacronisms, detail descrepancies or operating errors, consult RULE 1!
Good morning from cloudy, cool and rainy Northeast Ohio!
Back to posting this week, been very busy with a lot of things recently.
Managed to finish an Exactrail Evans 4780CF Covered Hopper kit, painted with Scalecoat II Reefer Orange paint and lettered with Oddballs Decals. Evans came up with their own design for a covered hopper to cope with the car shortage due to the export grain market and the retirement of 40' boxcars for grain movement.
When Hubert Mask died I was unable to get one of his Southern Brick car kits, but luckily a fellow MFCL group member offered a couple for sale, so I picked one up. Here are the kit contents, I have so far cleaned up the side castings and drilled out the holes for applying the grabs and ladders.
A pair Athearn Southern Railway GP38-2's with a general freight running on Strongsville club layout.
Thanks for looking!
Rick Thanks for starting this weeks WPF.
Lovely covered hopper. Well done.
Myself - Not done a lot, just a little scenery.
No trickery, just sunlight through the train window. I love it when the sun plays tricks. Click on pictures for proper one

I cannot afford the luxury of a negative thought
Rick, thanks for starting the this episode of WPF. As usual, your work on the painting and decals for the cars is amazing.
David, thank for more views of your picturesque layout.
Since N scale buildings available were not exactly what I wanted for my layout, I decided to try scratch building some I did want. My wife's favorite place to eat when we travel is Cracker Barrel, so I built her one. The rocking chairs are from Gold Medal Models. There are very fews sources of N scale cars (depending on the amount of money you want to spend). I found a box of fifty of these cars for only a few dollars. They're not highly detailed, but from a few feet away, they look OK. The most dificult part of the build was lighting the signs.

Enjoy your weekend!

Rick, Thanks for opening the WPF. Always fun starting a new project/kit. Those GP38s passing the mill and starting over the bridge look good.
David, Like your pastoral pics.
John, Those N scale chairs are something else! Family connection to the layout sure is satisfying.
Simon, Nice crisp shot and a very pleasing scene overall.
Named my Seaport Model Works 'Dragger' after my daughter, today's her Birthday so gonna' risk over-posting the Jenny Lynn.
Thanks to all the contributors and viewers. Have a good weekend. Regards, Peter
Thanks for starting things off, Rick.Very inspiring photos this weekend!
Last week I showed the PRR brick depot nearing completion and this has given me the impetus to get one of the last stretches of bare plywood on the layout closer to completion:

I added a platform to the westbound track so trains can make a brief stop there without crossing over. This was a common arrangement I've seen in other locations:
