Yes, very cool, even after a lot of visits, it never gets old.

And today we are working on those windows......

Well I am planning an extensive Amtrak trip.  Lost my wife last year and decided that I would take the Zephyr from  Chicago to Sacremento then the coast starlight to Seattle and the Empire Builder back to Chicago.  Seriously thinking about going to Darjeeling India next year to ride the toy train if the world is still here.

Trip to Strasburg on Saturday

So I took the grandson to Strasburg on Saturday. It was chilly and windy but a nice day in any event.

This is a picture of N&W 475 which was our motive power for the day.

We went first class in Lounge Car "Linn W. Moedinger" and enjoyed a light snack on our trip.

The boy had a great time, he thought the lounge car was the coolest thing ever.

Now he wants to go back soon and eat a real meal in the dining car.
