I have an older Dash Nine kato locomotive that has started making severe vibration like noises. When the noise starts the loco slows, when the noise stops it returns to normal speed. I have checked all drive gears and all are intact. All help is appreciated.

KATO has a service department. So do some local 'Train' store's.
+ You always have the option of fixing it yourself .
Problem could be a 'U' Joint or bad motor or something rubbing. Step 1. is removing shell and inspect.

Perhaps Leon at Kato-Schaimburg Illinois, 1-847-781-9500 central time between 9 & 11, 1 & 4
could recommend.
