Try www.railfan.com or www.railpace.com there is a fair amount of railroad info on these sites plus their publications.

What is a good source for current railroad news and information on current equipment.

I am a model railroader, but not a current or ex-railroad employee. I would like some suggestions for sources of current railroad events and companies. Either magazine or web site would be good. Modeling Norfolk and Western 1950's is great, but I want to know how it's done today.
