making good use of that vise

Thanks Dan, Can't say enough about the handiness of the work-holder, it's like 'where have you been all my hobby life.'  Also finding it a nice aid when airbrushing, though requires some masking to keep off the overspray.  Regards, Peter

These are all custom paint/decals I did/do. I am currently up to 155 different beers. Need a bigger layout soon as the mainline is completly clogged up at the moment. Will probably build a shelving unit to display them soon.

Dan

Yep, I knew that, I was just wondering where you get all the referigerator cars that you are decorating. 155, wow! Thumbs Up Dan

Train shows, Watch for good deals on Ebay, Etc. I have a max price I will pay and If I look around enough I can find deals. A while back I bought a lot of 10 athearn unbuilt kits for $50, real good deal. I still have about 45-50 more to strip and paint. Just need to research more old defunct breweries/beers

Dan (Pike...) Two more for the road! Nice too. Where do you keep getting those reefers?

Rick, I dont know how you can know so much about the prototype specifics on your freight car builds, but they always look great.

Thanks, Peter. the Peterbilts are Brekina, I chose them for that paint scheme. I could never custom paint like that. Nifty dumpster, and I see you're making good use of that vise.

Dan, Thanks for firing up the WPF.  Looking good!  Those trailers appear to be well worth the tedium, and again, love those Peterbilts.

Rick, Good to see you logging some hobby time at the bench and at the club.

Diving into a little dumpster project.

Thanks to all the contributors and viewers.  Have a good weekend. Regards, Peter

Good morning from mostly sunny and cold Northeast Ohio, lake effect snow expected later today.

Dan, thanks for starting us out with those unique trailers, can't wait to see the finished models.

Not muc done these past few weeks, but I did build and paint a Bowser ACF 1958CF Covered Hopper kit, painted with Scalecoat II UP Covered Hopper Gray paint and lettered with Highball Graphics decals. The Annie used these cars originally to haul cement from the huge Dundee MI cement plant and then they migrated to the Yuma MI sand pit where they hauled casting sand to the Ford Brookpark, OH Engine Plant.

I also did some more work on the RBL that I am kitbashing into a DT&I car, here is the end of the car with grabs, brake wheel, crossover platform, ladders and upcoupling levers installed.

A couple of weeks ago I took some PC and NYC covered hoppers to the Strongsville Club along with an SD40 and SD45 for power. The first 13 cars are PC 4785CF PS Covered Hoppers from Scaletrains, followed by some mixed NYC 4785's H51's and PS 4750's.

Thanks for looking!

Rick Jesionowski

It's the weekend, You know the drill! Wink  Let's see 'em...

The tedium of adding braces is over, and assembly on the chip rigs is taking shape. Mocked on wheels yet, but the boxes are assembled.

The superbowl is over. Lets keep those pix coming.Stick out tongue  Dan
