Oh Boo Hoo! I wish we had enough train shows going on around here to make me tired. I live close to Memphis Tennessee and they only have one or two train shows all year. For a city of its size, Memphis doesn't have anything like Chicago, Milwaukee, etc. Our train show is coming up February 26-27 at the Mid-South Fairgrounds. Is anyone here going to attend?

Another Train Show....

Good Morning(it's 1:30 AM in Minnesota),

Well, I have looked through my goodies from the La Crosse 'Rail Sale' today. I picked up my P2K Milwaukee passenger GP9 with DCC/sound - runs great and the sound is impressive - just seems to have a low turbo whine in it. I would have expected '567' chant as I throttle up. Overall, it looks good, and it will spell the old Atlas/ER Models FP7 on the passenger train. I'll shop it to make it a little better model of a Milwaukee Ph II FP7.
Now that I am deep into the season, I stayed up late working on the layout and made some progress on 3 buildings. This is the second W/E of Train Shows , and we have another one next W/E as well. I am getting tired; this train show stuff can wear one down!
