I'm building/kit bashing a hospital car for my layout. I am going to use a Scale Models 68' flat car and MACRAILs pedastals as the base. I have a 40' hopper that I want to use as my damaged car. It "fell" from the layout and sustained minor damage upon contact with the floor. However, it really isn't enough damage to need to be on a flat car. What are different techniquies to further damage the car? I've seen a few models where people have gotten creative with damage. I'm looking for the techniques to "damage" the car while keeping it looking somewhat plausible.
Bend the end of the center sill where the coupler mounts or twist the car body slightly.
