This is the weekend thread where modelers can show their completed models, work under construction and layout pictures new and old.
Let's have a lot of participation this weekend!

Rule 1: This is my railroad.
Rule 2: I make the rules.
Rule 3: Illuminating discussion of prototype history, equipment and operating practices is always welcome, but in the event of visitor-perceived anacronisms, detail descrepancies or operating errors, consult RULE 1!
Good morning from mostly sunny and cool Northeast Ohio!
Got a couple of cars done this week.
First up another Stewart 14 Panel Hopper car, painted with Scalecoat II Black Paint and lettered with decals that Brian Banna allowed me to purchase from his supplier. The NYC in the late 50's was on a program to purchase more 70 ton hoppers replacing worn out 50 ton hoppers. This is the 3rd car I have finished and I have 5 more to go.
Next up a Details West combo door boxcar painted with Scalecoat II ATSF Mineral Red, Black and Silver Paints then lettered with Herald King decals. The Details West car was about only correct for this class of UP boxcars.
Below are some in progress pictures on a modified Robbins Rails 60' Greenville Boxcar, that I am changing into a ACF prototype, first off had to change the doors from plug style which I carved off and replaced with a pair of doors I had left over from an Intermountain 5283 boxcar kit, then I carved off the side sill and replaced it with a deeper sill matching the ACF drawings. I also sliced and diced the underframe to change the wheelbase from 41' to 46'3" and used Moloco ACF Coupler pockets for the ends of the car. Still have to remove all the side panel rivits and add various detail parts.
A pair of Intermountain NYC F3's with a general freight running on the Strongsville Club layout which will be open this weekend along with Historical Society Grounds.
Thanks for looking!

Time...It marches on...without ever turning around to see if anyone is even keeping in step.
1:00 to 5:00 pm on both days.
Rick, Thanks for launching another WPF, always a pleasure is seeing the quality and quantity of your modeling, along with the interesting commentary.
Every project adds to our knowledge and skills. Bashing up a homage to Wrecker Drivers (of which my good friend Jerry and I were in the 70s) taught me how to make decals at home, airbrush Molotow Chrome ink and Pledge Floor Finish, not to mention discovering the worth of Tamiya masking tape.
Dead battery call at the Aztec Apartments
Thanks to all the contributors and viewers. Have a good weekend and a happy holiday season. Regards, Peter
Not from this weekend, but I haven't posted this yet. Just got a string of each of these cars, all in different numbers.
