on the layout

John,  Really like your 'Psycho' scene, mixing cinema with model railroading is fun.

Happy Halloween, Peter

Shockingly, not seen the movie.

Hmm. That may qualify as a cultural deficiency.  Laugh

Not a good photo --  I used to have this on the layout.  I still have the buildings, but they are in a box on a shelf.  This is scratch built N scale, so some of the corners, sides, etc., are not very good.  I've learned a lot since I built this.

While I have nothing to contribute for Halloween, I recal someone posting here a layout with the Bates Motel.

For my friends who model a city layout, what about the Ghostbusters Firehouse as shown here  (you know what five words to say next; cue creppy piano playing...)

It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.

I love that cemetery, John. I would like to do similar sometime. Mine will be secluded, weedy and overgrown. Peter, I like that shark scene. I wish I had something scary to show. Besides my wiring, that is.

Returning to model railroading after 40 years and taking unconscionable liberties with the SP&S, Northern Pacific and Great Northern roads in the '40s and '50s.

Since it's soon Halloween, how about some photos of fun creepy things on your layout?

Workers digging a new grave in a church cemetery:

To make it really creepy you could add an arm coming out of the ground behind the workers.

John, Good to see a Halloween thread started, and diggin' your graveyard scene.

"Just when you thought it was safe," Happy Halloween, Jaws style.

Thanks and regards, Peter
