Got the cover. Didn't get the pin. However, I think I improvise up the pin with some styrene in my box. Thank you for all the interest.

For this engine the coupler would be a #27 but that idea is there if need be. I also have another S-4 that I'm not using that I could raid for the stock parts.

You can't modify a #5 coupler box? Tap the pin hole for a screw. Usually a 2-56. I do that for my Atlas RS ALCOs.

See what seller "banks823" has for sale on eBay.

Worth a shot.

Atlas Parts Needed
Posted by FRRYKid on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 2:55 AM

Parts request this time. Anybody got a line on an coupler cover and pin for an Atlas yellow box S-4? I think this is the one that was a Kato drive system with a metal frame. I have one that somewhere along the line those pieces have gone poof. I have checked my usual sources with no luck. Any assistance would be most welcomed.
