And I am back...
Posted by RideOnRoad on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 5:31 PM

After a six-year hiatus, I have resurrected my (n-scale) layout. Work (is this still a four-letter word on the forum?) took over my life, but in February I found myself unexpectedly retired. I had to do some serious cleaning to remove six years of dust and fix some wiring failures, but it is back in operation. I have some ballasting left to complete, some structures still in boxes, and a whole lot of foam that needs some sort of covering. Right now, I am running my three DC engines as I still need to re-learn DCC. After eight years I have forgotten nearly everything so get ready for some noobie-esque questions. It is really good to be back.

Drop on over to Jeffrey's Trackside Diner and introduce yourself or re-introduce yourself to the crowd.  Sadly, you'll see names you remember on the RIP track.

Remember what a pain the forum software and its shortcomings were when you left?  Well, nothing has changed.
