Show me something else under construction.

I'm making slow progress to get my city scenes put together.

This is one of those "found" images.

This little detail was hidden in the corner of a picture of my wife. There on my desk was an N scale Period Miniatures craftsman kit under construction, with a couple of more kits still in the boxes.

It is amazing what shows up in the backgrounds if you look for it.

More under-construction or work-in-progress please.

Here's a modification to a yard ladder I made a few weeks ago:

Yard West Cleanup by Edmund, on Flickr

The original turnouts were power-routing type and I didn't like the way they were gapped.

The new lead has powered frogs and I realigned a track so I could fit in a water tower.

More projects, please.

I replaced a Walthers/Shinora #8 curved turnout with a Peco #7 because of freguent derailments over the Walthers turnout. The Peco #7 actually has broader curves than the Walthers #8, especially on the inside curve. It has improved operation but a few of my full length passenger cars still have trouble taking the inside curve which is an operational nuisance. I'm still working the problem.

More projects, please.

We temporarily interrupt this regularly scheduled program with a question for Mike.

Wasn't there a neat looking Waterfalls one seems to remember, you added to this area?  Sure would like to see that again.

Now back to our regular scheduled program.

I'll fill in the blank, as Mike, (mbinsewi) may be a little bit humble when it comes to his set apart excellence in modeling, and hand-painted backdrops.

Dug this picture out of my railroad log.  His use of colour and modeling technique is something I've admired for years.

I hope no one really thinks of Show Me Something or Weekend Photo Fun as competitions. If so, let's just declare Peter the winner and retire both threads!
