They have the tooling for the CNR St Charles caboose . I wonder if there will be any difference ? Maybe? in detail
That purchase was nearly 2-1/2 years ago (Aug '20). I wish Atlas would release the NYC/Rutland 19000-series caboose that TLT was working on before they went belly-up. The NYCSHS spent a LOT of time and man-hours helping them with that project and then...they just disappeared, with zero warning or notification.

Time...It marches on...without ever turning around to see if anyone is even keeping in step.
That sale happened back in 2020 ....

Yes, and since then, Atlas has offered at least two or three of those True Line cars, although I'm uncertain if they're available now, or simply available if you're interested in reserving some, for when they eventually show-up.I was interested in their covered hoppers, mostly in Canadian road names (including my hometown TH&B road), but they don't really fit into my late '30s layout era, and the prices are considerably higher than when True Line had them.
I did get a bunch of True Line Dominion-Fowler boxcars, though, when it was revealed that the first-offered ones had been incorrectly lettered. TLT offered properly-lettered ones, and advised the various hobby shops that carried them to ask that those wanting the proper version should turn-in the incorrect ones. The hobbyshop that I was using at that time was in St. Catharines, Ontario, and they did collect the messed-up ones, but then put them on the "used table", for a couple of bucks apiece...I grabbed quite a few of them for that price, but ended-up removing all of the oversize free-standing plastic grabirons, then plugged the holes using Evergreen styrene rod, then used a pin vise to drill new holes to accommodate phosphor-bronze wire ones from Tichy.
I got 13 or 14 of those Fowler cars, and each car required 78 hand-drilled holes for the grabirions.
They're still among my favourite cars, and I have added 10 or 12 of those from Accurail, but have no ambition to remove the cast-on grab irons and replace them with wire.

I wish Atlas had picked up True Line's paints. They are great to work with.
Cheers!!

I'm just a dude with a bad back having a lot of fun with model trains, and finally building a layout!
