This was a company out of Toledo, OH started by some modelers. They used a shell of an SD40-2 made by T&D Models and cobbled together existing Athearn drive components to make a somewhat representative SD40-2. When Athearn introduced their correct width SD40-2 Walthers cancelled all orders for the North American SD40-2 and they essentially went out of business.

Did anybody ever here of that manufacturer before? I seen an ad on a Face Book model trains sales page, of one for sale, an SD40-2. HO scale.
I don't remember ever hearing of them before.
