Thanks to this post, I did make my email available.

I have had my email publicly available since I joined this forum.

Because of that, I have met some remarkable people and had some truly generous offers made off-forum.

Thank you to all the kind people on this forum.

When I click on your profile I can clearly see your email address in the "Contact" window.

I don't even see that on my computer. That box says "shared RSS feeds"

Go to your profile and click Edit Profile. Then you'll see a bunch of text fields on the right side, one group of them is called Contact.

However, I'm not sure that the system will actually Save anything you put there. I tried it and Save did not do anything. Could someone look at my profile and see if it's there?

There's a place to add it in your profile. However, I just tried to add my email address there and when I clicked Save, nothing happened. Oh well.

Seems like the "Contact" box only appears once the user has actually entered a valid email address? Maybe not.

I presume they are refering to an email address that the forum member chooses to add to their profile.

Not every member proffers one. Mine is listed on my profile page in the appropriate tab.

I tried clicking on the OP's user ID and got a runtime error.  Perhaps that particular moderator models the Transition Era, because that error comes up for most stuff like that I've tried this century.
