I just picked up a static grass applicator and I'm looking forward to adding some static grass to my layout. My question at this point is what are you guys using for glue. Can you use standard Elmers type white glue or does a specialty glue work better?

I use LePages white glue, well-thinned with distilled water from a dehumidifier, and usually applied with a trigger-type spray bottle for large areas, and a small dropper-type applicator for confined areas where sprayed-on glue is not a good choice.
The "wet water" is simply distilled water with a few drops of dish detergent added, which allows it to flow better.

I use standard old white glue, like Elmers. Not school glue.

3:1 or 4:1 mix of white glue works well
