Easiest way to find Rivarossi mallet locomotive parts....?
Posted by OERRFailRanner on Monday, December 19, 2022 3:51 PM

Hello,

As a project of mine I wanted to start doing, I have designed a monster of a locomotive, a custom quintouplex with a single cab in the middle, I have been on the look for cheap mallet rivarossi bodies, due to the fact the rear wheels areticulate a bit to make the whole thing come together. Where might I find bodies and frames of rivarossi steam locomotives to complete this quest? the only other thing i have is to make a large coal and water tender.

Thanks!

I've had pretty good luck picking up Rivarossi articulated parts on ebay. There was thousands of them sold and many of them have been cannibalized over the years. Do a search for "Rivarossi locomotive parts". Something will pop up in a few days.
