Autonerd So, a funny confluence of two threads, one a question I asked about appropriate cars for a PC/CR coal train on the Prototype Questions forums, and one here about having luck on eBay... After getting some good guidance from you good folks on road names, and borrowing the club's PRR Color Guide copy (to find what paint schemes would be appropriate for the early-to-mid 1970s... seems with PRR coal hoppers, anything goes), I started peeking around on eBay. I found a seller who had a set of three black Bowser PRR hopper kits (one dupe number). I watched and he made an offer -- $30 + $15 shipping. I looked at his other stuff and found other items of interest -- a five-pack of shadow-keystone hopper kits, plus a couple of Roundhouse hoppers in roads I wanted. So I reached out to him -- would be consider sellign me 2 of the 3 black cars, the five red cars, and two RHs? I made an offer, inclusive of shipping, that I thought was in line with his pricing. I got a nice note back expressing interest, and offering to look for anythign else of interest. (Which he didn't find, oh well.) So, he put together the bundle, posted it at a crazy price that no one in their right mind would pay, I put in the offer we agreed, and he accepted! So, assuming all is well with the cars, I had a nice eBay experience and I've got a running start on my coal train! Goes to show, you never know what will happen until you ask! Aaron
