Los Angeles Funicular Railway

As a Film Noir fan I've watched a few Hollywood movie scenes shot on a funicular railway.  Guess I'm just dense, but it took stumbling upon this heartwarming video to make the connection between the Angels Flight and the Downtown Deco hotel model.  LA 1:87 Short Film - Pacific Electric Railway Historical Society

Thanks for posting that Peter, I watched it twice. A good way to end a good day.

Thank you for sharing that, Peter.

Boy, isn't that true, that the more we learn about our world, the more we realize how much we don't know. Especially when you're trying to build models of parts of it!  Dan

Dave, Brent and Dan,

My pleasure.  Like you, I sure enjoyed seeing Mr. Cox's work, along with hearing his views on modeling and how it can be a part of preserving architectural history.

Regards, Peter
