yes, having it sealed up keeps it moist, and it's quite a bit slower to dry out ... it does remove paint a little quicker sealed up tight ..
Used it numerous times myself. After spraying the shell liberally, I place it in a zip-loc bag to contain the chemistry and it seems to work faster that way.

DoughlessIt softened the paint within an hour. And its water clean up. Lightly scrubbed the loco shell with a toothbrush and the paint came off very easy.
Interesting. I am going to need to give this a try next time I have stubborn paint.
Thank you.

Living the dream.
i used it quite a few times ... be careful, some plastics it will eat .. the 'origional' spray bomb has the best cleaning action
After reading about this product as a paint stripper, I decided to use it on a styrene locomotive I had previously painted with rattle can paint. Nothing ever worked to strip the paint.
Stole the wife's yellow can Easy Off, and it softened the paint within an hour. Lightly scrubbed the loco shell with a toothbrush and the paint came off very easily. And its water clean up. Caution, wear rubber gloves.
Easy Off - Great for removing rattle can paint.
