I can't believe, after reading MR off an on for 15 years or so, I just realized yesterday that the initials of both George Selios' model railroad and his model company are FSM.

Silly me!

Oh yeah, in case you didn't know this one either, the Kalmbach employee's club layout is the Milwaukee, Racine & Troy - which is the same initials as Model Railroader and Trains.

No kidding man, wow.

I won't be winning any MRR"ing Jeopardy at this pace. Jeeez!

Clever of George Selios. That guy has a dream job, doesn't he? Career feeds his hobby feeds his career feeds his hobby...

That must be awesome.

I did know about the MR&T (only because they said that's exactly what they were doing in an article from the late 80's.)

You're not alone. I just realized this a couple weeks ago myself!

(And I've been in the hobby longer than FSM has been a business.)

Think how I feel, I just found this out by reading your post!

I guess that's how he can afford all those details for his great layout. He probably gets an employee discount! [:D]

Speaking of slow, the logging railroad that connects to my Santa Fe East Texas Subdivision at the town of Johnston is the Johnston and East Texas. As a logging line, it is slow, even though its initials are J.E.T.
