How to post pictures from Flickr?
Posted by C&OCheviot on Monday, October 17, 2022 10:10 AM

I know everybody hates this question, but I've searched the forum and tried several different ways and nothing works.  Is there a way to post a photo directly into a post from Flickr?

Is there a way to post just one picture from Flickr and not be sent to every picture on the account?

thanks,

Randy

Try PostImage instead.

Rt click on image

> Send to

> Postimage

the little box returns the url (like this: https://i.postimg.cc/13fCSxRK/IMG-0640.jpg)

paste that in the pictur box and you get this

Thanks, but I don't have the option to 'send to' when I right click.  I don't have PostImage, and I'm not interested in moving all my photos to another site.

Let me try this, I have a Flickr account.

OK, click on the picture you want, it opens in a different window, down on the lower right, click on the "share" arrow, then click on BB code, copy it, then go back to your post, and paste, without using the "attach photo" icon.

It will appear in your post as a bunch of numbers and codes, but when you click on the reply button, it will show the picture.

My prefered method (if downloading is enabled)

Click on a photo, chose the download option and look at the sizes.

Find the appropriate size for a forum post.

Open the image in a new tab on its own, copy the URL and insert it into post using the image function in the post writing bar.

Voila!

Also might be worth putting the link so the full size image can be viewed on Flickr like so: https://www.flickr.com/photos/96380166@N07/52425479382/

Thanks Mike!  That worked.  I think I tried everything with that BB code except that.
