Thanks, Neal!
My fascination with "motors" began when I discovered that the NYC/Cleveland Union Terminal P-1a ran close to where I lived but a few years before my time. They were sent to Grand Central-Harmon service in 1953. I was fortunate to have been able to ride behind them on several occasions along with PRR GG1s and New Haven EP-5s plus witnessing manyE-33 (EF-4) and E-44s and even some old New York Central S-3 electrics still running.
Anyone who has experienced the power, speed and smooth acceleration of these locomotives will immediately become hooked!

I like this topic-- great shots, everyone.

BATMANA standoff.
Returning to model railroading after 40 years and taking unconscionable liberties with the SP&S, Northern Pacific and Great Northern roads in the '40s and '50s.
A standoff.

Always wondered why we didn't have a "Front End Friday" here. Today we do.
Here we have a Scale-Craft OO Maine Central 4-6-0 pulling into the station with the early morning passenger service. This is American OO, 1:76th scale running on 19mm track(not HO which is 16.5mm).
