IHC=AHM=Rivarrossi.

AHM was an American company formed to import products from Europe, primarily Rivarossi equipment from Italy. Rivarossi passenger cars were sold originally under the AHM name, and later were available under the Rivarossi name. (However IIRC they always had the Rivarossi name embossed on the bottom of the cars, regardless of what the box they came in said.)

The IHC passenger cars are very similar to the AHM/Rivarossi cars but they're not the same - interiors made for one won't work in the other; and to me the detailing of the old AHM/Rivarossi cars are better - even though the IHC cars had separately applied (but very thick) grabirons and such - and I find the AHM/Rivarossi cars roll and stay on the track better.

I found the easiest way is to twist the body from both ends.  Once one tab releases it is fairly easy to release the others or you can turn the car over and release a tab. with a screwdriver

They are made the same so the instructions to dissassemble are the same. The tabs will release the roof and glazing piece. Leaving you with a body and under frame as the other piece.

That's correct, and here's an example...

(I often remove the majority of the plastic "window" material, which is why most of it is not visible.)  However, the right end of the car shown also shows one of the openings into which the roof tabs are inserted.

Here are a couple more examples...

The roof and glazing are all one piece.   Those preongs hold it on.   the body and frame are all one piece.       IHC=AHM=Rivarrossi.  Rivarossi mae those cars and sold them under IHC and AHM names in the US.  They are made the same so the isnstructions to dissassemble are the same.     The tabs will release the foof and glazing piece.   Leaving you with a body and under frame as the other piece.
