Hello,
I have been wandering around on walthers and I found a flatcar I would like to use on my layout. It is in the Walthers TRainline brand and I was wondering, should I buy more? I have bought other boxcars but i am wondering if I should get better qualitry if this isn't good quality.
Also this is a new account I made since my other account got corrupted, whci was the weird "UP_SD40-2_3612" thing
Thanks!
Just my opinion, but if you like the look and price, go for it. I have several Trainline covered hoppers that I am very pleased with.
They are good for the price. They run well and have a shel. A better option for a bit more would be the mainline series. They run even better and look really nice.

My only experience with Walthers Trainline has been the FA locomotives.
Mine run great and look good.

I have one Trainline locomotive, a GP9M. The drive train is excellent. It has no rear headlight, which is odd. The shell is not well detailed. Oddly, is has the same overly wide dimensions of very old Athearn BB geeps, not the prototypical GP9 dimensions of Walthers own geeps.
It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.
The GP9m had its beginnings in the 70s as a Cox model, who seemed to copy the Athearn BB model, but with a chopped short hood.
Thanks yall! I will put this in when I consider buying a new railcar
