doctorwayne I have used I wide variety of model paints, some very good ones, some not so good, and some absolutely useless. In my experience, none were ever better than PollyScale.

doctorwayneWhen Testors/Model Master bought-out Floquil and Pollyscale, they made, in my opinion, a mistake by terminating both types, when they would have had a better product by ending Model Master and replacing it with Pollyscale.

To the best of my knowledge, if I am remembering correctly, the Floquil Polly Scale scale line of paints was water soluable.
The Testor's Universal Thinner is a mineral solvent. It works well with Testors, Pactra, and Floquil solvent based paints.
Testor's Universal Thinner is still available, but I do not think it is the correct product for use with Polly Scale paints.
