Many years ago, when I was inspecting a grain elevator, I saw a string of large grain hoppers with the name "Big John". I thought about them today and looked them up on e-bay. None. Did anybody manufacture these hoppers in HO scale?
.
Exactrail made them in a number of color schemes.
Search 'Magor' (the company that made the originals) and many of them appear on eBay.
Exactrail has recently run the Big John's again and available to purchase.

maxman Or from Trainlife,
I wasn't sure of the relationship. I do know that Trainlife sells more than Exactrail products. I get emails from them with offers for other products such as Athearn and Woodland Scenics.
Same. I visited their store Aug 2021

Either way the "Big Johns" they're selling are ExactRail.
